A. Detailed Visual Inspection of the Fuselage Skin External Surface between FR64 and FR70 from Stringer 6 to Crown Center Line LH and RH
(1)
Do a visual inspection of the outer surface of the inspection area. Look for damage, and defects in the shape of the external surface.
(2)
If you find damage :
(a)
Refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-11-00-001) for the classification of the damage.
(b)
If you find corrosion damage:
-
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-22-00-001) for the general corrosion data
-
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-74-00-001) for the repair of the corroded areas.
