A. Removal: (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 53-58-11-991-008, 402/TASK 53-58-11-991-009)
(1) Disconnect the Electrical Systems:
(a)
Disconnect the connectors 7120VC-A/1M and 7118VC-A/1S.
(b)
Disconnect the connector 7116VC and 11LJ.
(c)
Disconnect the electrical wire from the switch 8QC.
(d)
Disconnect the connector 11WF-A and 12WF-A.
(e)
Disconnect the electrical harnesses 6761VN/DC1, 6760VN/B1, 6528VN/DC2 and 6757VN/DC1.
(f)
Remove the clamps from the electrical harnesses 4213VB/1M and 4207VB/1M up to FR77.
(g)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the firewall seal 7138VC/3E at the APU firewall FR80.
(h)
Disconnect the connector 7138VC/3E.
(i)
Remove the clamps from the electrical harness 4210VB/3E between FR80 thru FR77.
(j)
Disconnect the electrical harness 7519VP at FR77.
(k)
Disconnect the connector 21WG-A and 22WG-A.
(l)
Remove the electrical cable 6750VN/DC1.

Remove the clamps of the electrical harnesses 4213VB/1M and 4631VB/1M up to FR77.
(n)
Remove the electrical harnesses 6533VN/DC1, 4643VB/3P and the clamps between FR78 and FR79.
(o)
Disconnect the connector 7527VC and remove the clamps up to FR77.
(p)
Disconnect the cable lugs of the electrical harness 4622VB/3G from the terminal block 7508VT and remove the clamps between FR77 and FR79.
(q)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(2)
Disconnect the Bleed Air Duct: (Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 53-58-11-991-010)
(a)
Remove the overheat sensing element 19HF (Ref. TASK 36-22-17-000-001).
(b)
Remove the insulating sleeve (2), the insulation lock sleeve (12) and the insulating sleeve (11).
(c)
Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the bolts (7) and disconnect the rod assembly (8) from the bleed air duct (13).
(d)
Remove the nuts (17), the washers (16), the screws (15) and the bonding strap (14) from the bleed air duct (13).
(e)
Remove the V-clamp (1) and move the bleed air duct (4) forward.
(f)
Remove and discard the air seals (9) and (10) from the bleed air duct (4).
(g)
Put the blanking covers on the open ends of the bleed air ducts.
(3)
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses 1102GM, 1103GM, 3102GM and 3103GM: (Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 53-58-11-991-016)
(a)
Put a container in position to collect unwanted hydraulic fluid. WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(b)
Disconnect the hose assemblies.
(c)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
