(4) Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-013A) and SEALANTS (Material No. 09-018) to the mating surfaces of the fairings.

B. Installation:
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Put the fairing (2) in position.
(3)
Install the screws (1) and TORQUE to 0.3 m.daN (26.54 lbf.in).
(4)
Make sure that the clearance 'a' is 1.0 +1.0 -1.0 mm (0.0393 +0.0393-0.0393 in.) between the fairing (2) and the vertical stabilizer fairing (3), and the fairing and the vertical stabilizer (4).
(5)
Make sure that the clearance 'c' is 10.0 +3.5 -3.5 mm (0.3937 +0.1377 -0.1377 in.) between the fairing and the fuselage.
(6)
Apply a bead of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) to the edges of the fairing (2).
