A. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position adjacent to the aft
passenger/crew door.
(2)
Open the aft passenger/crew doors (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-010-001), from the outside.
(3)
Remove the scuff-plates (Ref. TASK 53-45-15-000-001), from the aft passenger/crew doors.

B. Cleaning Procedure
WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THIS/THESE
_______ MATERIAL/S. USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A MASK.
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A GOOD FLOW OF AIR THROUGH THE WORK
_______ AREA WHEN YOU USE SPECIAL MATERIALS. IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE MATERIALS ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES : -FLUSH IT AWAY WITH A FLOW OF CLEAN WATER FOR BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MINUTES. -GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID IF IRRITATION OCCURS. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS : THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.
(1) Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint free cloth, if necessary. Make sure that the area is dry before you continue.

A. Detailed Visual Inspection Procedure
(Ref. Fig. 629/TASK 53-41-00-991-038)
(1) Do a detailed visual inspection of the aft passenger/crew door cutout, below the scuff-plates, LH and RH, for corrosion.
NOTE : If required, for information on allowable damage, refer to the
____ ASRM skin plates (Ref. ASRM 53-41-11-101).
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the scuff-plates (Ref. TASK 53-45-15-400-001) at the aft passenger/crew doors.
(3)
Close the aft passenger/crew doors (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001), from the outside.
(4)
Remove the access platform(s).
(5)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
