A. Get Access
WARNING : PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION

BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
-
THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
-
THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
-
THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
-COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
(1)
Install the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) on the flap/slat control lever when you work near the flaps/slats.
(2)
Put a warning notice on the slat/flap control lever to tell persons not to operate the slats/flaps.
(3)
Put an adjustable access platform in position at the belly fairing.
(4)
Remove these fairings/access panels:
-
the wing-to-fuselage fairings (Ref. TASK 53-35-11-000-001),
-
the quick-release access panels (Ref. TASK 53-35-13-000-002).
-and the belly fairing access panels (Ref. TASK 53-35-13-000-001).

B. Cleaning Procedure
WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THIS/THESE
_______ MATERIAL/S. USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A MASK.
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A GOOD FLOW OF AIR THROUGH THE WORK
_______ AREA WHEN YOU USE SPECIAL MATERIALS. IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE MATERIALS ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES : -FLUSH IT AWAY WITH A FLOW OF CLEAN WATER FOR BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MINUTES. -GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID IF IRRITATION OCCURS. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS : THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.
(1) Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint free cloth.
