(1)
Install the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) on the flap/slat control lever when working near the flaps/slats.
(2)
Put the warning notice on the slat/flap control lever to tell persons not to operate the slats/flaps.
(3)
Put the adjustable access platform in the required position.
(4)
Remove all the following panels (Ref. TASK 53-35-11-000-001), (Ref. TASK 53-35-12-000-002) and (Ref. TASK 53-35-13-000-001) from the belly fairing support structure.

_______ AREA WHEN YOU USE SPECIAL MATERIALS. IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE MATERIALS ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES : -FLUSH IT AWAY WITH A FLOW OF CLEAN WATER FOR BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MINUTES. -GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID IF IRRITATION OCCURS. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS : THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.
(1) Remove the old temporary protection compound from the area to be treated with a non metallic scraper, and clean with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint free cloth. Make sure that the area is dry before you continue.

_______ MAKE SURE THAT THE TEMPORARY PROTECTION DOES NOT GET: -ON COMPOSITE PARTS, CONTROL CABLES, PULLEYS,TEFLON BEARINGS. -ON LUBRICATED SURFACES. -IN DRAIN VALVES OR OTHER ORIFICES. TEMPORARY PROTECTION ON OR IN THESE PARTS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
