A. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform below the AFT cargo-compartment door.
(2)
Open the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-003). WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THE

SPECIAL MATERIAL.
THIS MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS.
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(3) Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and a lint-free cloth.

A. Inspection
(1) Examine the external surface of the AFT cargo-compartment door-cutout upper and lower corners for:
-cracks,
-corrosion.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 53-41-11-101) for

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Remove the access platform(s).
(3)
Close the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(4)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

Remove the lavatory F, if installed (Ref. TASK 25-43-43-000-001).
(3)
Remove the insulation blankets from the rear pressure bulkhead (Ref. TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
NOTE : Identify the insulation blankets for installation.
