B. Removal of the Data Management Unit (DMU)
(1)
Loosen the nuts (4) on the front of the rack (3).
(2)
Lower the nuts (4).
(3)
Pull the DMU (1) on its rack (3) to disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
(4)
Remove the DMU (1) from its rack (3).
(5)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors (2).

D. On the FDIMU front face, set the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
(1)
To do so open the door, the one bearing the caution: "BEFORE INSTALLING SET INSIDE SWITCH TO ON". Push down the small handle and the door swivels open to show a hole in the upper part with a switch. Use one finger to set the switch to OFF.
(2)
Swivel back the door to its closed position.
