(1)
Open the recorder door.
(2)
If the optical disk is installed, remove it.
(a)
On the panel 121VU:
close the circuit breaker 4TV and 9TU.
(b)
Eject the optical disk.
(c)
On the panel 121VU: open, safety and tag the circuit breaker 4TV and 9TU.
(3)
Remove the brush cover from the LENS Optical Disk Drive Cleaner. NOTE : The P/N of the LENS Optical Disk Drive Cleaner is contained in
____
the DAR Vendor manual.
(4)
Put the cleaner in the disk drive, so that the arrow is on top.
(5)
Insert cleaner: CAUTION : DO NOT USE FORCE WHEN YOU PUSH IN THE CLEANER. FORCE CAN

CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE DRIVE.
(a) Insert the cleaner slowly and carefully into the disk drive until it touches the stopper.
(6)
Pull back the cleaner approximately 5 centimeters (2 inches).
(7)
Repeat the two last steps approximately 10 times to complete the cleaning.
(8)
Remove the cleaner from the disk drive.

(9) Put the brush cover on the cleaner and put it in a clean, dry place. NOTE : You must not use the cleaner more than 60 times or if the tips
____ of the brush have become wider or discolored. The specifications and appearance of the cleaner can change without notice.

On the panel 121VU:
close the circuit breaker 4TV and 9TU.
(11)
Insert the optical disk into the disk drive.
