C. Bleeding Procedure of the PTU with the Electric Pump of the Yellow
Hydraulic System and a Ground Hydraulic Supply
(1)
Make sure that the isolation coupling of the PTU is connected.
(2)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3)
On the panel 40VU:
(a) Make sure that the OFF light of the PTU P/BSW is on.
(4)
Pressurize the Green hydraulic system with a ground cart (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-001).
(5)
Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system with the E-pump (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-863-001).
(6)
Make sure that the pressure in the hydraulic systems is approximately 3000 psi (206.8427 bar).
(7)
On the panel 40VU:
(a)
Push the PTU P/BSW.
(b)
Make sure that the OFF light of the PTU P/BSW goes off.
(8)
Make sure that the PTU does not start.
(9)
Keep the hydraulic systems pressurized for a minimum of 15 minutes.
(10)
Examine the hydraulic connections of the PTU and make sure that there are no leaks.
(11)
On the panel 40VU:
(a)
Push the PTU P/BSW.
(b)
Make sure that the OFF light of the PTU P/BSW comes on.

Depressurize the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
