Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.

Apply the HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the threads of the line end-fittings.

Remove the blanking plug and connect the pressure pipe (19) to the pump outlet port.

TORQUE the union nut (18) to between 2.9 and 3.2 m.daN (21.38 and
23.59 lbf.ft).

(12) Remove the blanking plug and connect the case drain pipe (6) to the pump.
(a) Make sure that the routing of the case drain pipe (6) is below the pressure pipe (19).
(b) Make sure that the clearance between the case drain pipe (6) and the pressure pipe (19) is correct (Ref. TASK 20-23-14-910-001).
(13) TORQUE the union nut (7) to between 2.9 and 3.2 m.daN (21.38 and 23.59 lbf.ft).
R (14) Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new O-ring (28).
R (15) Remove the blanking plug from the suction pipe (1).
R (16) Install the new O-Ring (28) in the union nut (2).
R R (17) Connect the suction pipe (1) to the pump inlet port.
R (18) TORQUE the union nut (2) to between 9.7 and 10.7 m.daN (71.53 and 78.90 lbf.ft).
R (19) Connect the seal drain pipe (16) to the pump.
R (20) TORQUE the union nut (17) to between 1.5 and 1.7 m.daN (11.06 and 12.53 lbf.ft).
R (21) Connect the air hose (5) to the pump (3) and install and tighten the clamp (4).
R (22) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (14) and the receptacle.
R (23) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
R (24) Connect the electrical connector (14) and safety it with the lockwire, MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).

C. Preparation for the Test
(1)
Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2)
Energize the electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3)
Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(4)
On the ECAM control panel on the center pedestal, press the HYD pushbutton switch (P/BSW). Make sure that the HYD page is shown on the lower (system) display of the ECAM.
(5)
Make sure that the ECAM does not show any of these conditions:
-
Low air pressure in the Yellow reservoir,
-
Low fluid level in the Yellow reservoir.
(6)
If necessary, pressurize the reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(7)
If necessary, add fluid to the reservoir (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001).

Do the EIS stop procedure
