On the ECAM control panel on the center pedestal, push the HYD pushbutton switch. Make sure that the HYD page is shown on the system display of the ECAM.

Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST L/G page on the MCDU (Ref. TASK 31-32-00-860-009).

Subtask 29-34-00-710-052
A. Operational Test of the Reservoir Low Air Pressure Warning
(1) Follow the subsequent remarks:
WARNING : PROTECT YOUR HANDS AND FACE FROM THE GAS WHICH COMES OUT
_______ WHEN YOU OPEN THE MANUAL DEPRESSURIZATION VALVE OF THE RESERVOIRS. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE GAS IS HOT AND CONTAINS HYDRAULIC FLUID.
NOTE : To find the air pressure in a hydraulic reservoir refer to the
____ air pressure gage on the hydraulic reservoir.
(2) Do this test:

1. On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system:
-set the reservoir
depressurizing valve to OPEN
until the pressure in the Blue
reservoir is between 27 psi
(1.8615 bar) and 33 psi (2.2752
bar) relative (43 psi (2.9649
bar) and 48 psi (3.3096 bar)
absolute).
2. On the MCDU with the LGCIU1 menu shown:

- open and close the CB 2386GH.

On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system:
-set the reservoir depressurizing valve to OPEN until the pressure in the Blue reservoir is between 12 psi (0.8273 bar) and 18 psi (1.2410 bar) relative (27 psi (1.8617 bar) and 33 psi (2.2754 bar) absolute). At 22 psi (1.5168 bar) +/- 3 psi (0.2068 bar):On the panel 130VU, 131VU and on thelower ECAM display:
-no warnings of the hydraulic systemcome on.
The single chime operates
On the panels 130VU and 131VU on the glareshield:
-
the MASTER CAUT lights come on
On the lower ECAM display:
-
the message LO AIR PRESS comes on near the Blue hydraulic system indication
On the upper ECAM display:
-
the message HYD B RSVR LO AIR PRESS comes on.
All the warnings above are no longer shown.
The single chime operates
On the panels 130VU and 131VU on the glareshield:
-the MASTER CAUT lights come on
