A. Installation of the Delta Pressure Indicator
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new packing (2) and packing (3).
(4)
Install the packings (2), (3) on the delta pressure indicator (1).
(5)
Remove the blanking cap from the RAT hydraulic pump housing (4).
(6)
Install the delta pressure indicator (1).
(7)
TORQUE the delta pressure indicator (1) to between 0.678 and 1.356 m.daN (59.99 and 119.99 lbf.in).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 2801GE, 2803GE, 6XE

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3)
Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4)
Examine the connection of the delta pressure indicator (1) and the RAT hydraulic pump housing (4) and make sure that there is no leak.
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE RAT TRAVEL RANGE IS CLEAR BEFORE YOU

EXTEND/RETRACT THE RAT.
(5) Retract the RAT (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-869-006).
(6)
Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003). Subtask 29-22-51-710-058
D.
Test
(1)
Do the operational test of the manual deployment and the retraction of the RAT (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-710-007).
(2)
Make sure that the delta pressure indicator (1) stays in the retracted position.
