B. Installation of the Clogging Indicator
(1)
Put a new back-up ring (3) on the clogging indicator (4).
(2)
Lubricate the new O-rings (2) with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).
(3)
Put the new O-rings (2) on the clogging indicator (4).
(4)
Lubricate the threads of the clogging indicator (4) with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).
(5)
Remove the blanking plug from the port (1).
(6)
Carefully install the clogging indicator (4) in the port (1).
(7)
Torque the nut (5) to between 1.08 and 1.36 m.daN (95.57 and 120.35 lbf.in).
(8)
Safety the nut (5) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.0315 in.).

D. Test
(1)
Make sure that the level of the fluid in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(2)
Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3)
Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4)
Examine the clogging indicator and make sure that there are no leaks.
(5)
Make sure that the clogging indicator does not show a blocked filter.
