A. Installation of the Solenoid Valve
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new packing (7).
(4)
Remove the blanking cap from the port of the ejection jack (6).
(5)
Put the solenoid valve (8) with the new packing (7) in the installation position.
(6)
Install the solenoid valve (8) with the bolts (10) and the washers (9).
(7)
Safety the bolts (10) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).

Remove the protective caps from the electrical connectors.
(9)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.

Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 2801GE, 2803GE, 6XE

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3)
Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4)
Examine the connection of the solenoid valve (8) and the ejection jack (6) and make sure that there is no leak.
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE RAT TRAVEL RANGE IS CLEAR BEFORE YOU

EXTEND/RETRACT THE RAT.
(5) Retract the RAT (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-869-006).

Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003). Subtask 29-22-53-710-063

Do the operational test of the manual deployment and the retraction of the RAT (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-710-007).

(1)
Put the protective cover (1) in the correct installation position over the deployment solenoids.
(a)
Tighten the screws (2) in the quick release fasteners (3).
(b)
Install the screw (5) in the protective cover (1).
(2)
Install the access panels 147BB, 147CB.
(3)
Close the main gear door (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4)
Close the access door 195BB.
(5)
Remove the safety barriers.
(6)
Remove the warning notice(s).
