Mark the position of the interlock proximity switch (2) on its attachment bracket before removal. This will help you to find the correct installation position.
(4)
Remove the nuts (3), the interlock proximity switch (2), the shim (4), the washers (6) and the bolts (7).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2)
Make sure that the warning notices are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel, - on the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(3)
Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.
(4)
Make sure that the RAT is extended (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-869-005).

A. Installation of the Interlock Proximity Switch
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Install the interlock proximity switch (2) with the bolts (7), the washers (6), the shim (4) and the nuts (3). Refer to the marks on the attachment bracket to find the correct installation position.
(4)
Make sure that the value of the gap "X" between the interlock proximity switch (2) and the flag lever (1) is between 0.018 in. (0.4571 mm) and 0.020 in. (0.5079 mm).
(5)
If necessary adjust the gap "X" with applicable shims (4). NOTE : Shims of a different size are available.
