The pressure transmitter sends analog information of the air pressure in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system to the CFDS. The CFDS monitors the data from the transmitter during the flight phases 6 thru 9. If the data shows that the pressure is less than 3.1 bar absolute (45 psia) (2.1 bar relative (30 psig)), the CFDS gives a class 2 warning. This warning is shown on the STATUS page of the lower ECAM DU only after engine shut-down.
The fault logic has a 10 s delay. Thus, the system ignores decreases in pressure which only last a short time. The CFDS does not cause a fault warning because of a low-pressure input from the transmitter if there is:
-
a low air pressure discrete from the pressure switch 2384GH,
-
a low hydraulic pressure discrete from the pressure switch 2151GN.

(3) For the pressure switch 1384GH:
-Use a tie-wrap and attach the disconnected cable to a part of the structure.
NOTE : Attach the cable to the structure so that the disconnected end
____ of the connector points down. This prevents the contamination of the connector with oil or other liquids.
(4) For the pressure switch 3384GH:
(a)
Put the disconnected connector and the end of the cable through the hole in FR42 into the main gear compartment.
(b)
Use a tie-wrap and attach the disconnected cable to a part of the structure in the main gear compartment.
