Put the warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system.
-In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
-On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(3)
Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4)
Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5)
Open the access door 197EB.
(6)
Extend the Ram Air Turbine (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-869-001).

A. Removal of the Eye End of the RAT Ejection Jack
(1)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the nut (2) and the locking key (3).
(2)
Measure and make a note of the distance "Z" between the eye end (4) and the key faces of the ejection jack (1).
(3)
Loosen the nut (2) until the locking key (3) disengages from the ejection jack (1).
(4)
Remove the nut (6), the washers (7) and the bolt (8) which attaches the ejection jack (1) to the leg assembly (5).
(5)
Disconnect the ejection jack (1) from the leg assembly (5).
(6)
Remove the eye end (4) from the ejection jack (1).
