Remove the ejection jack (14) from the leg assembly (12) and support it.

Remove the screws (3), the washers (2) and the p-clips (1) that attach the electrical cable to the structure.

Remove the nut (44), the washer (45), the bonding jumper (46) and the washer (45).
(18)
Remove the nuts (50), the washers (53) and the bolts (54) from the support bearing (52).
(19)
Remove and discard the cotter pin (65).
(20)
Remove the nut (64) and the washer (63), do not remove the bolt (60) at this time.
(21)
Put the container below the hydraulic connections to collect the unwanted fluid.
CAUTION : DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE MICROSWITCHES AT THE TOP OF THE

LEG ASSEMBLY.

Loosen the union nuts (48),(40) and disconnect the pipes from the ports (41) and (49).

Remove the support bearing (52) from the trunnion shaft (47).

Support the RAT. NOTE : The RAT and the leg assembly together weigh approximately 28.0

kg (61.7 lb).
(25)
Remove the bolt (60) and the washer (63) from the forked bearing (61).
CAUTION : DO NOT PUT THE RAT DOWN ON THE TURBINE BLADES.

Remove the RAT with the leg assembly (12) from its stowage compartment.
(27)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(28)
Put blanking caps on the ports.
