R d_ Look at the RAT and see if it turns.
R
R e_ On the overhead panel 40VU, push and release the BLUE ELEC
R PUMP P/BSW. Make sure that the OFF light comes on.
R
R f_ If the RAT turns, there is a fault in the GCM which you
R must repair before dispatch of the aircraft.
R
R g_ If the RAT does not turn, there is a defect in the wiring
R associated with the connectors 2454GE-C or 2027GE-A. If
R necessary, deactivate the fault warning from them as
R follows:
R - Put blanking caps on the diconnected electrical
R connectors.
R
R - Use tie-wraps and attach the two connectors and the
R cables to adjacent parts of the structure.
R 5_ If it is installed, remove the PROTECTION EQUIPMENT - RAT
(98D29207550001).
R 6_ Retract the RAT (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-869-002).
5. Close-up________

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other
items.
(2) Close the cover of the RAT control panel 2815GE.
(3) Close the access panels 195BB and 197EB.

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1)
Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(2)
De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

A. Reactivation of the RAT Fault Warning
(1)
Find the electrical connector(s) which is/are disconnected (2455GE-A, 2454GE-C and/or 2027GE-A).
(2)
Cut and remove the tie-wrap which attaches it/them to the structure.
(3)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector(s) and receptacle(s).

(4)
Connect the electrical connector(s) to the correct receptacles:
-2455GE-A to the jack control module,
-2454GE-C to the ejection jack,
-2027GE-A to the ground check module.
(5)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(6)
Trouble-shoot the RAT system (Ref. TSM 290000500).
(7)
Do the necessary corrective actions.

RAT FAULT
NOTE : Use this procedure together with the Master Minimum Equipment List
____ (MMEL). If the fault indication is because of a defect in the indication system, it is permitted to dispatch the aircraft. It is not permitted to dispatch the aircraft if the fault indication is because of a defect which could prevent operation of the RAT.
