 4. Push the left rudder pedal (on  On the ECAM lower DU:

R  - push the PTU P/BSW.  - the OFF light of the PTU P/BSW comes
 on. 
R  - the pressure in the Yellow hydraulic 
R  system is between 2200 and 3150 psi, 
R  without a consumer in operation. The 
R  pressure in the Green hydraulic 
R  system is 0 psi. 

R  9. On the panel 40VU:  On the panel 40VU: 
R  - push an release the PTU P/BSW.  - the OFF light of the P/BSW goes off. 
R  - the PTU starts to transfer hydraulic 
R  power from the Yellow to the Green 
R  hydraulic system. 
R  The ECAM lower DU shows:

NOTE : When the PTU starts, the
____ pressure in the Yellow hydraulic system could decrease to 2000 psi for a short time.

the PTU stops when the pressure in the Green hydraulic system is between 2800 and 3150 psi.

the PTU starts again when pressure in the Green hydraulic system is between 2200 and 2850 psi.


NOTE : The PTU operates intermittently

NOTE : The PTU delivery pressure in the
____ Green hydraulic system changes in low flow conditions. The difference in pressure between the stop and the start of the PTU is 200 psi minimum.

 CAUTION : DO NOT OPERATE THE ELECTRIC PUMP OR THE PTU IF THE SUPPLY OF
