A. Removal of the RAT Ground Check Module CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN
_______ YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU USE THE SECOND WRENCH, YOU WILL NOT LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the receptacle (2).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the electrical connector and the receptacle.
(3)
Loosen and remove the pipe end-fitting (18) from the tee-fitting (17).
(4)
Loosen and remove the union nut (16) and the hose (15) from the tee-fitting (17).
(5)
Remove the tee-fitting (17) from the port D.

Loosen and remove the pipe end-fitting (14) from the port A.
(7)
Loosen and remove the pipe end-fitting (13) from the port B.
(8)
Loosen and remove the pipe end-fitting (12) from the port C.
(9)
Loosen and remove the union nut (9) and the hose (7) from the ground check module (8).
(10)
Remove the nut (4), the bolt (11), the washers (5),(10) and the bonding jumper (6).
(11)
Support the ground check module (8).
(12)
Remove the nuts (3), the bolts (19) and the washers (20).
(13)
Remove the nut (22), the washer (20) and the bolt (21).
(14)
Remove the ground check module (8).
(15)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(16)
Put blanking caps on the ports of the ground check module (8).
