B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3)
Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

Open the left main gear main door (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

Open the access door 195BB.
(3)
Remove the access panel 147BB.
(4)
Remove the access panel 147CB.

A. Removal of the Ram Air Turbine CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN
_______ YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU USE THE SECOND WRENCH, YOU WILL NOT LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (42),(43).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Put blanking caps on the electrical receptacles.
(4)
Remove the screw (3), the washer (2) and the p-clips (1).
(5)
Remove and discard the cotter pins (16).
(6)
Support the RAT.
(7)
Remove the nut (25), the washers (26), the two bushes (27) and the bolt (30) from the door link (28).
(8)
Remove the door link (28) from the distance fork (29).
(9)
Remove the distance fork (29).
(10)
Remove the nut (17), the washers (18), the two bushes (19),(21) and the bolt (23).
(11)
Remove the door link (20) from the swivel pin (22).
(12)
Remove the swivel pin (22) and the shim washer (70).
(13)
Support the RAT door 195CB.
(14)
Remove the nut (15), the washers (11) and the bolt (10) from the piston rod eye-end (13).
