Examine the RAT doors for cracks, corrosion and any other damage.

Make sure that the RAT and its related components are correctly attached.
(4)
Make sure that all the lockwire and the cotter pins are in the correct condition.
(5)
Examine the RAT and its related components for cracks, corrosion and any other damage.
(6)
Turn the turbine blades manually and make sure that they turn freely.

(7) The turbine blades must have a minimum clearace of 13 mm (0.5118 in.) to the LH door and approximately 25 mm (0.9842 in.) to the RH door.
NOTE : Measure between the turbine blade tip and the door tip (not

the door seal).

If the clearances between the turbine blades and the door tips are not correct, adjust the RAT doors (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-820-001).
(9)
Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(10)
Make sure that the hydraulic connections of the RAT and its related components do not leak.
(11)
Make sure that the filter indicator (5) of the RAT has not popped out. If the filter indicator (5) has popped out, replace the filter element (Ref. TASK 29-22-51-000-004) (Ref. TASK 29-22-51-400-004).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 2801GE, 2803GE, 6XE

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Retract the RAT (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-869-002).
(3)
Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
(4)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(5)
Close the access door 197EB
(6)
Close the left main door of the main gear (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7)
Remove the safety barriers.
