SUBTASK 27-09-71-480-001
(1) Install the protractor, COM-1691 on the applicable pair of flight spoilers 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 11.
(a) Adjust the protractor, COM-1691 to zero.

(2) Do a check for symmetry between spoiler pairs 2 and 11, 3 and 10, 4 and 9, and 5 and 8:
(a) Move the speed brake lever until the spoiler 2 is up 15 ±1 degrees.
(b) Make sure the spoiler 11 is symmetrical to a limit of 0.5 degrees.
(c) Do the same symmetry check for the other spoiler pairs.

(3) If it is necessary to adjust the flight spoiler positions to get the optimize symmetry, do this task:

E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position.
