(5) Disconnect the electrical connector [4] from the pressure switch [3].

(6) Remove the pressure switch [3]:
(a) Use a 5 gallon (19 liters) hydraulic fluid resistant container, STD-1110 to catch hydraulic
fluid that drains from the pressure switch [3].
(b) Remove the pressure switch [3] from the hydraulic module [5]. Discard the removed
packing.
(c) Put a cover on the hydraulic module housing to keep unwanted material out of the open
port.

D. Low Pressure Warning Switch Installation

(1) If they are not installed, install the backup rings [1] and the packing [2] on the pressure switch
[3].
(a) Apply MCS 352B fluid, D00054 (recommended) or fluid, D00153 (alternative) to the backup
rings [1] and new packing [2].
(b) Put the backup rings [1] and new packing [2] in their position on the pressure switch [3].

(2) Install the pressure switch [3]:
(a) Install the pressure switch [3] on the hydraulic module [5].
(b) Tighten the pressure switch [3] to 50-200 pound-inches (5.6-22.6 newton-meters).
(c) Install a lockwire, G01912 on the pressure switch [3] and the nearest bolt.

(3) Do the following steps to connect the electrical connector [4]:
(a) Before you connect the electrical connector [4], examine the connector for corrosion.
WARNING: DO THE STEPS BELOW IF THE AIRPLANE OPERATES AT AIRPORTS WHERE
DEICING FLUID THAT CONTAIN POTASSIUM FORMATE IS USED. ALSO DO THE
STEPS FOR ALL AIRPLANES THAT YOU FOUND CORROSION IN THE
ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS IN THE MAIN WHEEL WELL. THE ELECTRICAL
CONNECTOR IS PART OF A SYSTEM THAT IS NECESSARY FOR SAFE FLIGHT.
(b) If there was corrosion, refer to (SWPM 20-60-03) to correct the problem.
(c) Apply the D5026NS or ZC-026 compound, G50171 to the connector (SWPM 20-60-03).
(d) Connect the electrical connector [4] to the pressure switch [3].
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
