LOW PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH - ADJUSTMENT/TEST
1. General
A. This procedure contains the test of the low pressure warning switch.
B. The low pressure warning switch is part of the flight controls hydraulic module. The flight controls
hydraulic module for hydraulic system A is found in the left main wheel well. The flight controls
hydraulic module for hydraulic system B is found in the right main wheel well.

C. Prepare for the Test
SUBTASK 27-09-61-480-002
WARNING: MAKE SURE THE DOWNLOCK PINS ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE LANDING GEAR.
WITHOUT THE DOWNLOCK PINS, THE LANDING GEAR COULD RETRACT AND CAUSE
INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) If the downlock pins are not installed on all the landing gear, do this task: Landing Gear
Downlock Pins Installation, TASK 32-00-01-480-801.

(2) Do this task: Supply Electrical Power, TASK 24-22-00-860-811.
D. Do a Test of the Low Pressure Warning Switch
SUBTASK 27-09-61-710-002
(1) Do a test of the low pressure warning switch:
WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT
CONTROL SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR.
THESE COMPONENTS CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC
POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) To pressurize hydraulic systems A and B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B
Pressurization, TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
(b) Operate the aileron control wheel, the control column, and the rudder pedals to bleed the
hydraulic system.
(c) Make sure that there is no leakage of hydraulic fluid at the flight controls hydraulic module.

(d) Make sure the LOW PRESSURE light on the forward overhead panel, P5, is not on.
(e) Remove pressure from hydraulic systems A and B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B
Power Removal, TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
(f) Make sure the LOW PRESSURE light comes on.
(g) Make sure the MASTER CAUTION and the FLT CONT lights on the lightshield panel, P7, are
on.
