(i) Installation of replacement tab control rods.
NOTE: For each aileron tab, if both control rods are adjusted, then flight test is
necessary.
If only one rod is adjusted, and you can verify that the remaining rod had not been
replaced or adjusted since the last flight test, then flight test is not necessary.
If only one rod is adjusted, and you can not verify that the remaining rod had not
been replaced or adjusted since the last flight test, then flight test is necessary.
(j) Installation of the original tab control rods if you changed the adjusted lengths of the tab
control rods.
(k) Installation of the original tab control rods if you also removed the aileron and/or aileron
balance tab from the airplane.

(1) Adjust the applicable system or systems before the flight test if you get these conditions:
(a) The aileron trim is more than 3/4 unit at cruise, 3/4 unit at 250 knots, or more than 1 unit
other than cruise flight configuration.
(b) The rudder trim is more than 1/2 unit at cruise, 3/4 units at 250 knots, or 1 unit other than
cruise configuration.

(3) Make sure that the FLT CONTROL A and FLT CONTROL B switches are ON.

NOTE: The airplane may pitch up or down during transition.

(5) Carefully move the elevators, ailerons, and rudder.
(a) Make sure that the control forces and operation do not change.

(6) Set the FLT CONTROL A switch to ON.
