1. General
A. This procedure has maintenance tasks for the Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL)
maintenance requirements as shown in the Dispatch Deviations Procedures Guide (DDPG). These
tasks are used to prepare the airplane for flight with certain systems/components inoperative.
B. This procedure also has the tasks that put the airplane back to its usual condition.
C. These are the tasks for the components in the flight controls system:
(1) MMEL 27-4 (DDPG) Preparation - Leading Edge Flap/Slat Position Light Systems Inoperative
(2) MMEL 27-4 (DDPG) Restoration - Leading Edge Flap/Slat Position Light Systems Inoperative
(3) MMEL 27-7 (DDPG) Preparation - Auto Spoiler System Inoperative
(4) MMEL 27-7 (DDPG) Restoration - Auto Spoiler System Inoperative
(5) MMEL 27-10 (DDPG) Preparation - FEEL DIFF PRESS Light Inoperative
(6) MMEL 27-10 (DDPG) Restoration - FEEL DIFF PRESS Light Inoperative
(7) MMEL 27-11 (DDPG) Preparation - AUTO SLAT FAIL Light Inoperative
(8) MMEL 27-11 (DDPG) Restoration - AUTO SLAT FAIL Light Inoperative
(9) MMEL 27-12 (DDPG) Preparation - Auto Slat System Inoperative
(10) MMEL 27-12 (DDPG) Restoration - Auto Slat System Inoperative
(11) MMEL 27-13 (DDPG) Preparation - Stall Warning System Inoperative

2. MMEL 27-4 (DDPG) Preparation - Leading Edge Flap/Slat Position Light Systems Inoperative
(Figure 901)
A. General
(1) This task gives the maintenance steps which prepare the airplane for flight with the leading edge
(LE) flap and slat position light systems inoperative on the center panel or with one light
inoperative on the center and annunciator panels.

SUBTASK 27-00-00-020-001
(1) Remove the bulbs from the applicable lights on the center instrument panel, P2-2.

(2) Attach an INOP placard to the applicable lights.
SUBTASK 27-00-00-930-002
(3) Make one of these placards which shows the LE flap and slat positions:
(a) If the flap positions are between 1 thru 5, make this placard:
1) LE slats in EXT position; LE flaps in FULL EXT position.
(b) If the flap positions are between 10 thru 40, attach this placard:
1) LE slats in FULL EXT position; LE flaps in FULL EXT position.

(4) Attach the applicable flap and slat position placard near the LE device annunciator panel, P5-12.
E. One Leading Edge Flap/Slat Position Light Inoperative on the Forward and Annunciator Panels

(1) Make sure the indications of the LE slats 4 and 5 are not inoperative.
NOTE: It is not easy to see the positions of the LE slats 4 and 5 from the flight deck. Thus, the
indications for the LE slats 4 and 5 are not permitted to be inoperative.

WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL
SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR. THESE
COMPONENTS CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER.
THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Pressurize the hydraulic system B to 2900-3100 psi. To pressurize hydraulic system B, do this
task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization, TASK 29-11-00-860-801.

(3) Do a check of the operation of the two stall warning systems:
(a) Push the stall warning test switches No. 1 and 2.
(b) Make sure the stick shakers operate satisfactory.
(c) If the stick shakers do not operate satisfactory, then do these steps;
1) Open this circuit breaker and install safety tag:
