(c) Disengage the cable ABSA [19] and cable ABSB [22] from the aileron bus drum [20].
(d) Safety the disconnected cable ABSA [19] and cable ABSB [22] to secure them.
(e) Remove the cotter pin [6], washers [5] to remove the cable retention pins [4] between the
support frames [7] and [21].

(f) Remove the nuts [23] and screws [25] to disconnect the System B upper quadrant
assembly from the System A lower quadrant assembly.
(g) For system A, do these steps:
1) Remove the nut [47], washer [46], washer [45] and bolt [44] to disconnect the diagonal
support [39] from the structure.
2) Remove the nut [34], washer [33], washer [32] and bolt [31] to remove the diagonal
support [39] from the support frame [21].
3) Remove the nuts [49] to remove the hydraulic fittings.
4) Remove the nut [30], washer [29], washer [28], bolt [27], nut [38], washer [37], washer
[36], and bolt [35] to remove the support frame [21] from the structure.
(h) For system B, do these steps:
1) Remove the nut [12], washer [11], bushing [10], washer [9] and bolt [8] to disconnect the
spring cartridge [13] at the inboard end;
2) Remove the nut [68], washer [69], bushing [70], shims [67], washer [72] and bolt [71] to
disconnect the diagonal support [62] from the structure;
3) Remove the nut [55], washer [54], washer [53] and bolt [52] to remove the diagonal
support [62] from the support assembly [56];
4) Remove the nut [30], washer [29], washer [28], bolt [27] and nut [66], washer [65],
washer [64], bolt [63] to remove the support frame [7] from the structure.
(i) For system A, do these steps:
1) Remove the nuts [43], washers [42], washers [41] and bolts [40] to disconnect the
support assembly [50] from the structure;
2) Remove the linkage [1] from the airplane.
(j) For system B, do these steps:
1) Remove the nuts [43], washers [42], washers [41] and bolts [40] to disconnect the
support assembly [56] from the structure.
2) Remove the linkage [2] from the airplane.
