(1) If they are not installed, install the packings [2] and [3].
(a) Apply MCS 352B fluid, D00054 (recommended) or fluid, D00153 (alternative) to the new
packings [2] and [3].
(b) Install the packings [2] and [3] on the compensator cartridge [1].

(2) Install the compensator cartridge [1]:
NOTE: Do not install 10-60560-3 Compensator on Flight Control Module if the Compensator has
serial number 20478A thru 20717A (Ref: AD 2002-19-51, Rev.1).
(a) Install the compensator cartridge [1] on the flight controls hydraulic module housing [4].
(b) Tighten the compensator cartridge [1] by hand until the compensator cartridge [1] bottoms
in the housing.

WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL
SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR. THESE
COMPONENTS CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER.
THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(4) For the applicable hydraulic system, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization,
TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
NOTE: Pressurize hydraulic system A if you replace the compensator cartridge in the left main
wheel weel. Pressurize hydraulic system B if you replace the compensator cartridge in
the right main wheel weel.

(5) Do this task: Supply Electrical Power, TASK 24-22-00-860-811.

(6) Make sure the applicable FLT CONTROL A or B switch, on the P5-3 Flight Controls panel, is set
to the ON position.

(7) Operate the aileron control wheel, control column, and rudder pedals to bleed the hydraulic
system.
(a) Make sure there is no leakage of the hydraulic fluid at the compensator cartridge [1].
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

LOW PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of the low pressure warning switch
(2) An installation of the low pressure warning switch.
B. The low pressure warning switch is referred to as the "pressure switch" in this procedure.
C. The pressure switch is part of the flight controls hydraulic module. One flight controls hydraulic
module each is installed in the hydraulic systems A and B. The hydraulic module for hydraulic
system A is found in the left main wheel well. The hydraulic module for hydraulic system B is found in
the right main wheel well.
