WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL
SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR. THE CONTROL
SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR CAN MOVE
SUDDENLY WITH THE PRESSURIZATION OF A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. THIS CAN
CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Pressurize hydraulic systems A and B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization,
TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
D. Do the Centering Check
SUBTASK 27-11-00-720-003
(1) Do the centering check:
(a) Turn the captain’s control wheel clockwise from the neutral position (zero units) to 6 units of
trim.
(b) Turn the captain’s control wheel back to 2 units of trim and release the control wheel.
(c) Make sure the control wheel goes back to the neutral position in 0.0 ±0.4 units of trim
(±2.4 degrees).
(d) Turn the captain’s control wheel counterclockwise from the neutral position (zero units) to 6
units of trim.
(e) Turn the captain’s control wheel back to 2 units of trim and release the control wheel.
(f) Make sure the control wheel goes back to the neutral position in 0.0 ±0.4 units of trim
(±2.4 degrees).
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Remove power from hydraulic systems A and B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Power
Removal, TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
