(2) Correct the fault.
(a) Find the fault code or description of the fault that occurred.
(b) If you find a fault code, then do these steps:
1) Go to the Fault Code Index in the applicable chapter of the FIM and find the fault code.
NOTE: The first two digits of the fault code is the FIM chapter.
2) Find the task number on the same line as the fault code.
3) Go to the task in the FIM and do the steps in the task.
(c) If you find a description of the fault, then do these steps:
1) Go to the Observed Fault List at the beginning of the FIM and find the best description
for the fault.
2) Find the task number on the same line as the fault description.
3) Go to the task in the FIM and do the steps in the task.

(3) Do these steps to make sure that the stall warning systems operate normally:
(a) Push and hold the NO. 1 STALL WARNING TEST switch on the stall warning test module
(P5-18 panel).
(b) Make sure the pilot’s control column shaker operates.
(c) Release the switch.
(d) Make sure the control column shaker stops.
(e) Push and hold the NO. 2 STALL WARNING TEST switch on the stall warning test module
(P5-18 panel).
(f) Make sure the first officer’s control column shaker operates.
(g) Release the switch.
(h) Make sure the control column shaker stops.

(4) Remove the STALL WARNING SYSTEM INOP placard from the STALL WARNING TEST switch.

(1) Pressurize rudder hydraulic systems A and B. To pressurize them, do this task: Rudder
Hydraulic System A, B, or Standby Pressurization, TASK 27-21-00-800-801.

(2) Do a test of the rudder trim actuator:
(a) Turn the rudder trim knob to the NOSE LEFT position.
(b) Make sure the captain’s left rudder pedal moves forward and right rudder pedal moves aft.
(c) Turn the rudder trim knob to the NOSE RIGHT position.
(d) Make sure the captain’s left rudder pedal moves aft and right rudder pedal moves forward.

(3) Do a test of the rudder trim centering:
(a) Turn the rudder trim knob until the captain’s rudder pedals are aligned with each other.
(b) Make sure the rudder is in the neutral position.
1) If it is necessary, move the captain’s rudder pedals lightly to set the rudder to the
neutral position.

(4) Attach a INDICATOR INOP placard to the rudder trim indicator.

(5) Do this task: Put the Rudder Hydraulic systems A, B, and Standby Back to the Condition
