(d) Remove the nuts [8], washers [7], washers [6] and bolts [5] to remove the retaining plates
[19] from the aileron wing quadrant assembly [9].
(e) Disengage the cable ABSA [2] and cable ABSB [4] from the aileron wing quadrant
assembly [9].
(f) Open the applicable access panel to get access to the bolt [23].
For the left wing, open this access panel:

For the right wing, open this access panel:

671AT Upper Outboard Fixed Trailing Edge, Quadrant Bolt
Access Panel
(g) Remove the bolt [31] and washer [32] to disconnect the aileron position transmitter rod
from the aileron wing quadrant assembly [9].
(h) Remove the pin [13], nut [14], washer [15], bushing [12], washer [11] and bolt [10] to remove
the aileron control rod [17] from the aileron [16]. Discard the pin [13].
(i) Disconnect the aileron wing quadrant assembly [9] from the aileron hinge support [18].
1) Remove pin [26], nut [27], washer [25], bushing [24], washer [35] and bolt [23] to
disconnect the aileron wing quadrant assembly [9] from the aileron hinge support [18].
Discard the pin [26].
(j) Remove the aileron wing quadrant assembly [9].
(k) Disassemble the aileron wing quadrant assembly [9] if it is necessary;

1) Remove the bushing [41], and bearings [40].
NOTE: The top bearing [40] is swaged to the wing quadrant assembly [9].
2) Remove the pin [28], nut [29], washer [30], bushing [22], washer [21] and bolt [20] to
disconnect the aileron control rod [17] from the aileron wing quadrant assembly [9].
Discard the pin [28].
