C. Prepare for the Test

(1) Do this task: Supply Electrical Power, TASK 24-22-00-860-811.

WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL
SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR. THE CONTROL
SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR CAN MOVE
SUDDENLY WITH THE PRESSURIZATION OF A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. THIS CAN
CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Pressurize hydraulic systems A and B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization,
TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
D. Do the Aileron Response Test
SUBTASK 27-11-00-710-002
(1) Do the aileron response test:
(a) Turn the aileron control wheel through full travel in each direction from the neutral position.
1) Make sure the ailerons can move smoothly through the full range of travel.
(b) Remove pressure from the hydraulic system A, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B
Power Removal, TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
(c) Turn the aileron control wheel clockwise from the neutral position.
1) Make sure the trailing edges of the left aileron moves down and the aileron tab moves
up.
2) Make sure the trailing edges of the right aileron moves up and the aileron tab moves
down.
(d) Turn the aileron control wheel counterclockwise from the neutral position.

1) Make sure the trailing edges of the left aileron moves up and the aileron tab moves
down.
2) Make sure the trailing edges of the right aileron moves down and the aileron tab moves
up.
(e) Remove pressure from the hydraulic system B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B
Power Removal, TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
(f) Pressurize the hydraulic system A, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization,
TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
(g) Turn the aileron control wheel clockwise from the neutral position.
1) Make sure the trailing edges of the left aileron moves down and the aileron tab moves
up.
2) Make sure the trailing edges of the right aileron moves up and the aileron tab moves
down.
(h) Turn the aileron control wheel counterclockwise from the neutral position.
1) Make sure the trailing edges of the left aileron moves up and the aileron tab moves
down.
2) Make sure the trailing edges of the right aileron moves down and the aileron tab moves
up.
E. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition
