FLIGHT CONTROLS PANEL (P5-3) - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of the flight controls panel, referred to as the flight controls module assy [1]
(2) An installation of the flight controls panel.
B. The flight controls panel (P5-3) is on the captain’s overhead panel. The flight controls panel has the
lights and switches used by the primary and auxiliary flight control system hydraulic supply valves.

SUBTASK 27-09-45-020-001
(1) Remove the flight controls :module assy [1]
(a) Loosen the quarter-turn fasteners [2] that hold the flight controls module assy [1].
(b) Lower the flight controls module assy [1].
(c) Disconnect the electrical connectors from the flight control module assy [1].
(d) Remove the flight controls module assy [1].

SUBTASK 27-09-45-420-001
(1) Install the flight controls module assy [1]:
(a) Connect the electrical connectors to the flight control module assy [1].
NOTE: Make sure that the connectors match the mates on the flight control module
assy [1].
(b) Push the flight controls module assy [1] into the captain’s overhead panel.
(c) Install the screws [2] that hold the flight controls module assy [1].

(2) Remove the safety tags and close these circuit breakers:
