3. Aileron Balance Tab Adjustment to Equalize Lateral Manual Reversion Forces
A. General
(1) Use this procedure to adjust the aileron balance tab if the difference in the lateral manual
reversion forces is more than the permitted 2 to 1 ratio.
(2) In this task the aileron tab control rods are referred to as the "control rods".

(1) Make sure the aileron balance tab is correctly adjusted. To do a check of the adjustment of the
aileron balance tab, do this task: Aileron Balance Tab Adjustment, TASK 27-11-00-820-803.

(2) Make sure the aileron control wheel forces, with power off, are not more than the specified
limits. To do a check of the aileron control wheel forces, do this task: Manual Reversion Control
Friction Test, TASK 27-11-00-700-803.

(3) Make sure the stop clearances at the quadrants of the power control unit are not out of
tolerance. To do a check of the stop clearances, do this task: Pogo and Power Control Unit
(PCU) Adjustment, TASK 27-11-00-820-802.

(4) If the Flaps Up trim is more than 0.75 unit, make the trim correction first before you do the
