(c) Move the ALTERNATE FLAPS arm switch to the ARM position.
1) Make sure the STANDBY HYD - LOW PRESSURE light is ON.
WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT
CONTROL SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR.
THESE COMPONENTS CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC
POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(d) Use the electric motor pumps to pressurize hydraulic systems A and B. To pressurize
them, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization, TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
1) Make sure the FLT CONTROL - LOW PRESSURE A and B lights are OFF.
(e) Remove the safety tag and close this circuit breaker:

1) Make sure the STANDBY HYD - LOW PRESSURE light is OFF.
(f) Remove the power from hydraulic systems A and B. To remove the power, do this task:
Hydraulic System A or B Power Removal, TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
(g) Move the ALTERNATE FLAPS arm switch to the OFF position.
(h) Do this test of the STANDBY HYD - LOW QUANTITY light:
1) Open this circuit breaker:

2) Disconnect the electrical connector D678 from the standby system reservoir switch S49.
NOTE: The standby system reservoir is on the keel beam in the main wheel well.
3) Connect a jumper wire between pins 1 and 2 on electrical connector D678.
4) Close this circuit breaker:

5) Make sure the STANDBY HYD - LOW QUANTITY light is ON.
6) Open this circuit breaker:

7) Remove the jumper wire from electrical connector D678.
8) Connect the electrical connector D678 on the standby system reservoir switch S49.

10) Make sure the STANDBY HYD - LOW QUANTITY light is OFF.

(6) Do a test of the lights on the module assy [1]:
NOTE: Some lights might be ON.
(a) Move and hold the LIGHTS switch on the P2 Main Panel to the TEST position.
1) Make sure these lights are ON:
a) STANDBY HYD - LOW QUANTITY
b) STANDBY HYD - LOW PRESSURE
c) FLT CONTROL - LOW PRESSURE A
d) FLT CONTROL - LOW PRESSURE B
e) FEEL DIFFERENTIAL PRESS
f) SPEED TRIM FAIL
g) MACH TRIM FAIL
h) AUTO SLAT FAIL
i) YAW DAMPER
GUN 006-099, 101-122; GUN 001-005, 155-157, 201-999 POST SB 737-27-1253
j) STBY RUD ON
GUN ALL
(b) Move the LIGHTS switch back to BRT.

(7) Do a test of the YAW DAMPER light for the yaw damper system:
(a) Align the ADIRS. To align the ADIRS, do this task: Air Data Inertial Reference System -
Alignment from the ISDU, TASK 34-21-00-820-802 or Air Data Inertial Reference System
- Alignment from the FMC CDU, TASK 34-21-00-820-801.
(b) Make sure the FLT CONTROL B switch is ON.
(c) Turn the YAW DAMPER switch to ON.
1) Make sure the light for the YAW DAMPER goes off.
(d) Turn the YAW DAMPER switch to OFF.
1) Make sure the light for the YAW DAMPER comes on.
SUBTASK 27-09-45-710-005
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE INBOARD FAN COWL PANEL AND THE INBOARD AND
OUTBOARD THRUST REVERSERS ARE CLOSED AND IN THE STOWED POSITION OR
REMOVED BEFORE YOU EXTEND THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS. THERE IS
NOT SUFFICIENT CLEARANCE FOR THE FLAPS AND SLATS TO EXTEND IF THE
INBOARD FAN COWL PANEL AND THE INBOARD AND OUTBOARD THRUST
REVERSERS ARE IN THE OPEN POSITION. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO
EQUIPMENT.
