TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
2) Loosen the locknut [2] on the pogo [1].
3) Turn the shaft in the barrel and left clevis to adjust the length of the pogo [1] until you
can freely install and remove rig pin A/S-4 in the aileron bus drum.
4) Tighten the locknut [2] to 50-75 pound-inches (5.6-8.5 newton-meters).
5) Make sure you can freely install and remove rig pin A/S-4.
a) If it is necessary, adjust the lower pogo [1] on system A PCU again.
6) Remove power from hydraulic system A, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Power
Removal, TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
7) Make sure that the bushing flanges on the left hand clevis are pointed up, and the drain
hole in the clevis barrel is pointed down, when the clevis is re-connected.
8) Install lockwire, G02436 on the locknut [2].

(c) Adjust the lower (primary) pogo on system B PCU;
NOTE: You must adjust the lower pogo on system A PCU first before you adjust the lower
pogo on system B PCU.
1) Install the bolt [3], washer [4], bushing [5], washer [6], nut [7] and pin [8] to connect the
lower pogo to the system B PCU.
NOTE: The initial length of the pogo is approximately 13.78 inches (350.0 millimeters).
a) Make sure the drain holes on the pogo [1] are down.
WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE
LANDING GEAR. THE CONTROL SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS,
AND THE LANDING GEAR CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY
HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
2) Pressurize hydraulic system B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization,
TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
3) Loosen the locknut [2] on the pogo [1].
4) Turn the shaft in the barrel and the left clevis to adjust the length of the lower pogo [1]
on system B PCU until you can easily install and remove rig pin A/S-4, from the rig pin
kit, SPL-1585, in the aileron bus drum.
5) Tighten the locknut [2] to 50-75 pound-inches (5.6-8.5 newton-meters).
6) Make sure you can easily install the rig pin A/S-4 in the aileron bus drum.
a) If it is necessary, adjust the lower pogo [1] on system B PCU again.
7) Remove power from hydraulic system B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Power
Removal, TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
8) Make sure the bushing flanges on the left hand clevis are pointed up, and the drain
hole in the celvis barrel pointed down, when the clevis is re-connected.
9) Install lockwire, G02436 on the locknut [2].
(d) Adjust the upper (secondary) pogo [1] on system A PCU:
1) Loosen the locknut [2] on the pogo [1].
2) Turn the shaft in the barrel and left clevis to adjust the length of the upper pogo [1] until
you can easily install the bolt [3].
a) Install the bolt [3] with the washer [4], bushing [5], washer [6], nut [7] and pin [8] to
connect the upper pogo [1] to the system A PCU.
b) Make sure the drain holes on the pogo [1] are down.
3) Tighten the locknut [2] to 50-75 pound-inches (5.6-8.5 newton-meters).
4) Make sure the bolt [3] fits freely in its hole.
a) If it is necessary, adjust the upper pogo [1] on system A PCU again.

6) Make sure you can freely install and remove the rig pin A/S-4, from the rig pin kit,
SPL-1585, in the aileron bus drum (Figure 501).
7) If you cannot freely install and remove the rig pin A/S-4, do these steps;
a) Remove the pin [8], nut [7], washer [6], bushing [5], washer [4] and bolt [3] to
disconnect the upper pogo [1] from the system A PCU.
b) Adjust the length of the lower pogo [1] on system A PCU again until you can easily
install and remove the rig pin A/S-4.
c) Do the adjustment of the upper pogo [1] on system A PCU again from the
beginning.
8) Remove power from hydraulic system A, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Power
Removal, TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
