1) Make sure the BRAKE SOURCE light on the Captain's Main Instrument Panel, P1, is not on.

2) Make sure the EICAS message BRAKE SOURCE (caution) does not show on the top EICAS display.
(g)
After hydraulic system 4 is pressurized for at least two minutes do a check for leaks at the pressure switch.
(h)
Remove the power from hydraulic system 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).
(i)
Look at the pressure indication of the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage, on the P1 panel.
(j)
Slowly push one set of brake pedals to the limit of travel, hold momentarily, and then release. Continue this cycle of manual brake operation to bleed down the pressure in hydraulic system 4.
(k)
As the pressure indication of the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage decreases to 1400 psi and less, do a check of these indications: 1) Make sure the BRAKE SOURCE light, on the P1 panel, comes
on. 2) Make sure the EICAS message BRAKE SOURCE (caution) shows on the top EICAS display.

Do a check of the fluid level in the reservoir for hydraulic system 4.

Fill up the reservoir to the correct level if the fluid level is low (AMM 12-12-01/301)

Do a check of the pressure switch operation.
(a)
Make sure the pressure indication of the HYD PRESS gage on the captain's main instrument panel, P1 is 3000 +/- psig.
(b)
Make sure the pressure indication on the HYD PRESS gage on the captain's instrument panel is approximately the same as the indication on the direct reading pressure gage in the wheel well adjacent to the accumualtor.
F.
Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.

_______ DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks from the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
