(b) Pull the lever off the shaft. 1) If you cannot easily pull the lever off the shaft because the pushrod holds it, remove the lever. a) Remove the bolt (3), bushing (4), washer (5) and nut (6). b) Move the pushrod away from the lever. c) Remove the lever (8 left, 7 right).
(2) S 034-008Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the valve assembly.
(3) S 494-009Install a cap or plug on all open lines and ports.
(4) S 024-048Remove the valve assembly (1 left, 2 right): (a) Hold the valve assembly. (b) Remove four nuts (35), washers (34) and bolts (33) that attach the valve assembly to the quadrant support assembly. (c) Remove the valve assembly from the airplane.
(5) S 934-059Make marks or notes to show the position of the adapters that have angles.
NOTE:____ This is necessary to correctly install the adapters.
