HYDRAULIC PRESSURE SURGE ACCUMULATOR PRESSURE GAGE -
__________________________________________________ REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
____________________
1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the pressure gage for the hydraulic pressure surge accumulator.
(2)
The installation of the pressure gage for the hydraulic pressure surge accumulator.
B.
There are three hydraulic pressure surge accumulators on the airplane. One is adjacent to the rear spar of the right wing, inboard of the right wing gear trunnion. One is adjacent to the rear spar of the left wing, inboard of the left wing gear trunnion. One is on the inboard bulkhead of the right body gear wheel well. Adjacent to each hydraulic pressure surge accumulator is a pressure gage. The pressure gage is used to do the servicing procedures for the hydraulic pressure surge accumulator.
C.
These steps are necessary to remove the pressure gage:
(1)
You will remove the pressure from the hydraulic system 4.
(2)
You will release the hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic pressure surge accumulator.
