Hold the valve assembly on the quadrant support assembly.

Install the bolts (33) with washers (34) and lock nuts (35).

Install the lever (8 left, 7 right) on the shaft of the valve assembly:


 NOTE: The lever on the right valve assembly and the lever on the
____ left valve assembly are different. Make sure that you install the correct lever.
 (a)  
If you removed the lever, connect it to the pushrod: 1) Hold the lever on the pushrod. 2) Install the bolt (3), bushing (4), washer (5) and nut (6).

Install the lockbolt (9), washer (10) and nut (11) on the lever.

Remove the caps on the valve assembly and the mating hydraulic lines.

Connect the hydraulic lines to the valve assembly (7 locations).

Make sure rigging pin B3 (left) or B4 (right) can move freely through these holes at the same time:

The hole in the quadrant support assembly

Pressurize hydraulic system No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Make sure that the pressure indication for hydraulic system No. 4 on the lower EICAS display shows 2900 - 3150 psi.

Make sure that the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage on the P1-4 panel indicates 2900 - 3150 psig.

Push the brake pedals fully six times to bleed any air that may have entered the brake system.

 NOTE: The parking brake may be set to avoid leg fatigue.
