 CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Make sure that wheel chocks are installed at each wheel.

Release the parking brake.

Make sure the landing gear handle is in the DN position.

Make sure the brake hydraulic accumulator has the correct precharge pressure (AMM 12-15-09/301).

Make sure the surge accumulators, in the wheel well of each wing gear and in the right body gear, have the correct precharge pressure (AMM 12-15-11/301).

 Make sure that all the wing and tail valves are off.

 (12) Use a hydraulic service cart or the demand pump with the
 engine-driven pump for hydraulic system No. 2 to pressurize
 hydraulic system No. 2 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

 NOTE: If it is available, use a hydraulic service cart.
____ If you do not use a hydraulic service cart, you must operate both the demand pump (ACMP or ADP) and the engine-driven pump to make sure there is sufficient capacity to complete the test.

 Pressurize hydraulic system No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Do the steps that follow to do the alternate source selector valve operational test:

 (1)  
Make sure the EICAS pressure indications for hydraulic systems No. 1, 2, and 4 show 2900-3150 psig.

Make sure the BRAKE SOURCE light on the captain's main instrument panel, P1, is off.

Make sure the BRAKE SOURCE message does not come into view on the upper EICAS display.

Make sure the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage on the P1 panel shows 2900-3150 psig.

Quickly push the captain's brake pedals to the stops and hold for 2-4 seconds.

Monitor the indications as follows:

 NOTE: If you cannot monitor the necessary indications in
____ the time specified above, do this step again before you monitor each indication.
 (a)  
Make sure the pressure shown on the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage on the P1 panel momentarily decreases.

 (b)  
Make sure the pressure for hydraulic system No. 4, shown on EICAS, momentarily decreases.

 (c)  
Make sure that the pressure shown on EICAS for hydraulic systems No. 1 and 2 does not change.

 (7)  Release the brake pedals.

 (8)  Remove the pressure from hydraulic system No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).
 NOTE:____ Do not operate the brake pedals while you remove the
 pressure.

Move the No. 4 TAIL FLIGHT CONTROL SHUTOFF switch on the pilots' overhead maintenance panel, P461, to the ON position.
