ALTERNATE SOURCE SELECTOR VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two alternate source selector valves in the brake hydraulic system:
(1)
Alternate source selector valve No. 1
(2)
Alternate source selector valve No. 2.
B.
Alternate source selector valve No. 1 changes the hydraulic source for the brakes from hydraulic system 4 to hydraulic system 1. Alternate source selector valve No. 1 operates if there is low pressure in hydraulic system 4.
C.
Alternate source selector valve No. 2 changes the hydraulic source for the brakes from hydraulic system 1 to hydraulic system 2. Alternate source selector valve No. 2 operates if there is low pressure in hydraulic system 1.
D.
Alternate source selector valve No. 1 is installed on the keel beam in the right body gear wheel well. Alternate source selector valve No. 2 is installed on the rear spar of the left wing, near the fuselage.
