6. Hydraulic Brake System - System Test

A. General
(1)
The system test of the hydraulic brake system includes the topics that follow:
(a)
Test of the mechanical linkage
(b)
Test of alternate source selection
(c)
Test of normal brake operation
(d)
Test of pedal distance and force (left and right side)
(e)
Test of the automatic brake application after landing gear retraction.
(2)
Line hammer or chatter of the brake valves must not occur during any part of the system test.

The surge accumulators precharge pressure is correct (AMM 12-15-11/301).
(d)
The hydraulic systems are serviceable (AMM 29-11-00/201).

The Integrated Display System (IDS) is serviceable (AMM 31-61-00/501).
