c) Turn the barrel counterclockwise to disconnect the hose half of the brake disconnect from the brake half.
(b)
Disconnect the hose half of the hydrualic brake disconnect from the hydraulic line.
(c)
Put a cap on the hydraulic line.
(d)
Do these steps to remove the brake half of the hydraulic brake disconnect from the brake: 1) Remove the bolts and the washers. 2) Pull the brake half of the hydraulic brake disconnect from
the brake.
(e)
Remove the O-rings and backup rings from the brake half of the hydraulic brake disconnect.
(f)
Discard the O-rings.

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Install the Hydraulic Brake Disconnect

(1)
Do these steps to install the hydraulic brake disconnect:
(a)
Lubricate new O-rings and backup rings.
(b)
Install the backup rings (2 locations) and the O-ring on the brake half of the hydraulic brake disconnect.
(c)
Install the brake half of the hydraulic brake disconnect into the brake port.
NOTE: Application of a light coat of X8401-2 BATCO grease to
____ the Brake Half of the Disconnect from the diametrical surface above the upper retaining ring up to and including the underside of the mounting flange, will help to prevent Galvanic corrosion (SL-0099).
(d)
Align the holes in the brake half of the hydraulic brake disconnect with the mating holes in the brake.
(e)
Install the bolts and washers.
NOTE: Application of a light coat of X8401-2 BATCO grease to
____ the threads and shanks of the mounting bolts will help to prevent Galvanic corrosion. A torque of 72-82 pound inches (8.1nm-9.3nm) will insure proper tightening (SL-0099).
(f)
Safety the bolts with lockwire.
(g)
Remove the cap from the brake hydraulic line.
(h)
Connect the hydraulic line to the hose half of the hydraulic brake disconnect. 1) Tighten the "B"-nut fitting to 270 +/- 13.5 pound inches
