On the panel 800VU:
-put the applicable wing tank REFUEL VALVES switch to the OPEN position
-make sure that the opposite wing tank REFUEL VALVES switch is in the SHUT position
-hold the TEST switch in the HI LVL position.
(h)
Set the fuel tanker to its lowest flow rate and pressure. Let 150 l (39.6254 USgal) of fuel flow into the vent surge tank.
(i)
On the panel 800VU:
-put the applicable wing tank REFUEL VALVES switch to the SHUT position.
(j)
Stop the operation of the fuel tanker.
(k)
On the panel 800VU:
-release the TEST switch from the HI LVL position
-make sure that the applicable HI LVL light comes on
-
put all of the REFUEL VALVES switches to the NORM and guarded position
-
put the MODE SELECTOR switch to the OFF and guarded position.

R E. Aircraft Configuration
R (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-
R 002).
R (2) For the access panel 540HB(640HB) (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003):
R - refuel the applicable wing tank to 5900 kg (13007.2698 lb)
R or
R - refuel the applicable wing tank to high level cut-off.
R (3) For the access panel 540JB(640JB) (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003):
R - refuel the applicable wing tank to 6300 kg (13889.1186 lb)
R or
R - refuel the applicable wing tank to high level cut-off.
R (4) For the access panels 540KB(640KB) thru 540RB(640RB):
R - refuel the applicable wing tank to high level cut-off (Ref. TASK
R 12-11-28-650-003).
R (5) For the access panel 550AB(650AB):
R - refuel the applicable wing tank to high level and let the fuel
R tanker stay connected to the aircraft (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003)
R and (Ref. TASK 28-12-47-400-001).
R (6) For the access panels 550BB(650BB) and 550DB(650DB):
R - refuel the applicable wing tank to high level and let the fuel
R tanker stay connected to the aircraft (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003).
R (7) For the access panel 550CB(650CB):
R - refuel the applicable wing tank to high level and let the fuel
R tanker stay connected to the aircraft (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003)
R and (Ref. TASK 28-12-47-400-001).

R F. Preparation for Test
R (1) For the access panel 540PB(640PB), refer to (Ref. TASK 28-12-46-400-
R 001).
R (2) If the access panel(s) 540HB(640HB) thru to 540RB(640RB) have been
R removed, refuel the applicable wing tank fully (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-
R 650-003).
R (3) For the access panel 550AB(650AB), refer to (Ref. TASK 28-12-47-400-
R 001).
R (4) If the access panel 550AB(650AB) has been removed, do the steps that
R follow:
R (a) Refuel the applicable wing tank fully and keep the fuel tanker
R connected to the aircraft (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003).
R (b) Put a container on the access platform below the applicable water
R drain valve 21QM (22QM). Use the PURGING TOOL (97A28002117002) to
R open the water drain valve (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
R (c) On panel 800VU:
R - put the MODE SELECT switch to REFUEL
R - put the applicable wing tank REFUEL VALVES switch to the OPEN
R position
R - put the opposite wing tank REFUEL VALVES switch to the SHUT
R position
R - put the TEST switch to the HI LVL position and hold it there
R - make sure that the applicable HI LVL light goes out.
R (d) Set the fuel tanker to its lowest flow-rate and pressure. Make
R sure that the fuel flows into the vent surge tank and out of the
R water drain valve 21QM (22QM) (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
