A. Safety Precautions
WARNING : OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1)
Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(3)
Install the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) on the flap/slat control lever.
(4)
Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(5)
Put the adjustable access platform in position below the applicable holes in the wing bottom skin, zone 540/640.

A. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the wing bottom skin around the fuel tank water drain holes.

B. Inspection
(Ref. Fig. 606/TASK 57-41-00-991-011)
(1) Examine the fuel tank water drain holes in the wing bottom skin between RIBS 15-16 and 22-23. Make sure that:
-there is no damage
-
the edges are not corroded
-
the surface finish of the edges is in good condition
-there are no signs of fuel leakages.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 572100) for the
____
correct repair procedure.
5. Close-up

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 5CV, 7CV.
