A. Preparation for Installation
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1)
Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004).
(2)
Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) to clean the edges of the bush (2) and the adjacent area.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(5)
Apply a layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-002) around the edges of the bush (3).

B. Installation of the Bearing Assembly
(1)
Install the special washer (2) in the actuator attachment bracket. Make sure that the special washer (2) is correctly located on the lug of the actuator attachment-bracket.
(2)
Clean the special washer (2) and the bearing housing (1) with a clean lint-free cloth and CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004).
(3)
Apply a bead of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-002) around the anti-rotation washer (3) and the housing of the bearing-assembly (1).

Install a new tab washer (4).
(5)
Use the SPANNER R/I BEARING (98D57004081000) to install the special nut (5). TORQUE the special nut (5) to between 4.0 and 4.5 m.daN
(29.49 and 33.18 lbf.ft).
(6)
Safety the special nut (5) with the tab washer (4).
(7)
